For this magazine the colour scheme will be the same however the photo will be different instead of having one artist it will be a band however they will be styled like the artist will have in Ideas 1 and 2. The tile of the magazine will be underneath the image in the left side third. A small banner promoting the website will be printed across the top of the page and then text will be listed down the right side of the page. There will also be text and a bar code at the bottom of the page.
The band on the front of the cover will be a girl band as my magazine is targeted towards girls. They will be dressed in summery clothes, with their hair down and subtle makeup. Props like a guitars and a drum set would be used as they are a band.
The title of the magazine should be big, bold and eye catching to the reader especially the one across the photograph. The cover lines that are on the left hand side should relate to the theme of the magazine. The picture on the front of the magazine should represent the type of music that the magazine is based on. I think this layout will clearly identify what is featured inside the magazine.
I think this a good layout that will attract people to buy it when it is displayed on the shelf in shops as it is clear and an easy layout to associate with.
I think this front cover is really effective. The way that the photos and the text all fit together, work really well and are clear for the reader to identify with. Once colour, text and photos are added I think that the front cover will suit my theme well.
